Licensing by Mutual Recognition

Mutual Recognition of the licensed surveying qualification exists between the States and Territories of Australia and New Zealand through the Council of Reciprocating Surveyors Boards of Australia and New Zealand (CRSBANZ).

Eligible licensed surveyors from overseas may also apply to become licensed surveyors in South Australia. Applicants will be required to submit supporting documentation to the Board and have their educational qualifications assessed by the Bureau of Assessment of  Overseas Qualifications (BAOQ). The Board is then responsible for administering the licensing process for suitable applicants.
