The Board's activities are supported by the fees provided by licensed and registered surveyors and the levies collected from certified planlodgements in the Lands Titles Office.

It is a requirement for the Board under the Survey Act 1992 to deliver a performance report to the Minister for each financial year.

The report must include:

  • statistics relating to the number of licences
  • registrations and renewals granted
  • a summary of complaints received against
  • surveyors, and investigations performed
  • an audited statement of accounts of fees and
  • levies received.

Copies of the report are then required to be tabled by the Minister in both the Lower and Upper Houses of Parliament.
